Transforming a 400m² empty space within Brussels’ iconic sustainable building, Gare Maritime, was a thrilling challenge for Interior Blonde. Tasked with aligning Polestar’s stringent branding principles—minimalism and high performance—with the building’s architectural character, we embarked on a design journey that seamlessly integrated these elements.

We opted for minimalist materials like stainless steel, complemented by the warmth of birch veneer and Kvadrat fabrics. Playful touches such as distinctive tiles and iconic &tradition lamps added depth and character to the space. Introducing wood was a pivotal choice, harmonizing the interior with the building's natural aesthetic.

The result is a space were every detail, from material selection to spatial arrangement, embodies Polestar’s ethos of sophistication, minimalisme and functionality.
